How the calculation works

Your provider cost is your sales divided by one plus your markup: with a 40% markup, $1,400 of sales cost you $1,000 at the provider. What is left is your gross margin. Payment gateways take their fee from the full amount your customers pay, and your panel itself has a fixed monthly cost.

The break-even point is the monthly sales at which your margin, after payment fees, covers the panel's monthly cost. Above it, every sale is profit.

  • Markup is calculated on provider cost, not on your selling price
  • Payment fees apply to everything customers pay in
  • Refunds for partial and cancelled orders lower real revenue — keep a buffer
FAQ

FAQ

What markup do SMM panels use?+

It varies by service. Cheap, high-volume services often sell with a 20–50% markup; rare or premium services can carry 100% or more. Most panels set a default markup and adjust best sellers by hand.

What is a good net margin?+

That depends on your niche and payment mix. Watch the net margin rather than revenue: high sales with thin margins and high payment fees can still lose money.

Does the calculator include taxes?+

No. Taxes depend on your country and business type; subtract them separately.
